-With the vehicle pass, are we reserved a spot? Or should we plan to arrive a few days in advance ensure we get a decent spot? How early?
-we plan to bring a 4Runner and tents. Will everyone else’s vehicle be a RV? If so, are we crazy to not have the RV?  Nevermind. Just read elsewhere no RVs!
-Will RVs be prohibited  to run generators or will it be loud AF? NM- no rvs. Sweet. Just the sound of music

Hey Mac,

Welcome to Town Park!  Prepare for one of the best summers you've had to date!

So here's the deal with the vehicle passes: Camping in Town Park is likely different from most other festivals you may have been to in the past.  With Town Park, vehicle passes are extremely limited and they are unofficially reserved for those with mobility issues, medical concerns, or those who are expecting or with young children.  These vehicle passes are absolutely crucial for some folks to even be able to attend the fest and thus shouldn't be utilized just to have your vehicle in camp (unless you are sleeping in your vehicle and have the above ailments).  There is ample free parking and you'll be able to drop off all of your gear near where you camp.

There's always a list of folks who need these passes to be able to attend TBF so if you have one and want to be a good Festivarian, please contact debbiefromtucson who will get them in the right hands.

As for everything else about TBF 2020, definitely read through this thread and check out the summary here.

Feel free to follow up with any other questions here!

Your vehicle pass doesn't reserve you a spot and as Todd mentioned if just for parking your 4Runner you would be better selling it to someone who really needs it, and they have free parking as once you get there and you most likely won't be driving anyway once the music starts. A lot of us Festivarian's like to arrive at least the weekend before the festival, and many consider those days before to be the best part of the festival. So welcome to town park, get here as soon as possible and say hi and we'll be happy to help you enjoy the week.

TellurideTom and Ron n Deb.....  thanks for hosting this forum. Lots of good info.

Much to our surprise, we struck gold on a town park vehicle pass and 4 TP camp passes this morning on seetickets.   Looking forward to meeting everyone and hoping the festival veterans had already earned a spot through tenure. Few questions for the pros.
