I was there, too!!! It was amazing. I can’t wait to hear her in the box canyon.
Old Settlers was a little windy Saturday. But what a great set! So, have you been to both festivals. This is our first Telluride Bluegrass. How does Old Settlers compare to Telluride? We were in Telluride Sept. 2017 for the Blues Festival.

I prefer Telluride mostly because of the extended time in camp, and the beauty and magnificence of Telluride can't be touched by Texas Hill Country (though Hill Country has its own special beauty). Also even though Telluride is a larger festival than OSF it just seems like you know everyone, and really though the music is always amazing I'd say its the folks we've met and the camaraderie that keeps us coming back. I would like to get back to OSF one of these years, great way to kick off festival season. Listening to: picking ticks from the never regions, bag of mushrooms to show for it.

Brandi closed her set with Going to California. The guy that video this was standing next to me. We were against the handrail. Arrived about 1 hour after the gates opened. No tarp running, just set up at the front. Great laid-back festival. (Maybe 3000 folks) No lottery for tickets. Just log on and buy camping/parking. 4 stages. We will be back next year. It's only 2.5 hour drive for us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdbHXN47Uuo

My best guess is it will be Brandi with the twins. Hope I'm wrong. I could not find any info on her web site to see if she is touring with a full band. Looks like Old Settlers was the second stop of her current tour. But a three piece band will still be great. Getting ready for New Orleans Jazz Fest next week. 12 days of New Orleans, my second home. 2019 will be my 37th year in a row. Both weekends http://jazzfest.com/

Wow, I went two years in a row 95-96. Before they started doing all the big late shows. Saw some great bands, and what a deal seems like it was 12-15 dollars a day. Go have a beer at Little Riders for me!
2019 will find me at 35 days of festivals which started in January at IBC in Memphis TN. April/May and Sept/Oct are busy months out on the road. Listening to: Sarah Grace and the Soul
