DocMike, you are leaving Iowa? My congrats on that!

I have been thinking about this "Where have you lived?" thing. I think  I have tried to very hard to live wherever I am but... lately it seems that my life is mostly in Colorado.. and the commute is starting to be a killer! but. . .

I hesitate to do this, but here goes:

Topeka, Kansas 0-1
Sacramento, California 1-3
San Fernando Valley, California 3-4
Sunset, Utah 4-6
Ames, Iowa 6-7
(commune outside of) Mason City, Iowa  7 12
Provo, Utah 12 13 *
Salem (stints in Eugene/Cottage Grove, when I was bad), Oregon 13 17
SL Valley (SLC Metro, Sugarhouse, Sandy, Murray, Sugarhouse), Utah 17 30
Tallahassee, Florida 30 31
SL Valley (Sandy, SLC Metro, Murray, Holladay, Sugarhouse), Utah 30 46.5
Portland, Oregon or Telluride, Colorado 46.6 - ????

* This was not a year and I know that was a requirement.  However, I have to point out that I went from spending almost 5 years in a commune, doing TM, practicing yoga, learning how to one-hand roll, to living in student family housing at BYU in Provo, Utah.  Do you want to talk about CULTURE SHOCK?!

What I find strange about myself (hush! don't even THINK it!) is that even with all the places I've lived, I still call Oregon home; when asked where I grew up, I say Oregon.  Perhaps the "growing up" wasn't in the physical sense...

I knew I'd catch it for that statement, Princess LuAnna.  Something like, "Umm... er... Rhonny?  Grew up?  I think not!", but I just meant that I learned a lot during those years.  I learned that I can be a complete ass if I don't keep myself in check... for instance! (almost innately so!)  Evil
