(it's either this or start a thread about the absence of wontons  LOL)

I had such a great time this year, so let's talk about the music.   I didn't see everything (I wanted to check out Bearfoot but missed them) but of what I did see, here's my top 5, in no particular order:

Anne & Pete Sibley - Beautiful songs and harmonies.    And it seemed like they were happy and loving what they do.   Traveling around playing music with your spouse, what a gig!

Yonder - Never saw them before, and I was caught up in the Steve Martin rumours.   But Yonder rocked the house!   (and they had a good sense of humor about the Steve Martin thing.)

Del McCoury -  When we were watching Del my wife said "wow, they are the Pros!"  That about sums it up for me.

Three Ring Circle - Great jammin.  Bass player was workin.

Red Knuckle Late night show - first time seeing these guys.  Great Fun.  "Playing in the take-off style..."

Agreed, what a great festival! I can't imagine a better time, lineup, setting, whatever! I'll save you all from a long winded run down, but some favorite acts/artists/moments (is that bending the question too much?) were:

Kruger Brothers, Danny Paisley, Del and the Boys (Ronnie was an MVP for me), Bearfoot, Jim Hurst, Earl playing fingerstyle guitar, Todd Livingston playing some sweet solos!, Steep Canyon Rangers, rewarding and different Same Ol' River, seeing Tim O' Brien in so many killer settings, Three Ring Circle, Mike Marshall and Darell Anger (those last 3 tunes were a MAJOR highlight!), and the one-two punch of Yonder/Hot Rize (a little too buzzed at this point though). There's more, but I'll stop there. Thanks Planet Bluegrass- time of my year for sure!

Steve Earle, my favorite
Del, Earl Scruggs, Darrel Scott, Peter Rowan, The Kruger Bros

I had to leave during Yonder, but liked what I saw.  Didn't get to see Hot Rize

Great show this year.  Great weather (for the most part)
Thanks PB and volunteers

Ronnie McCoury always leaves the biggest impression on me.
Robbie, Jason and Alan arent bad either.
And of course Delma.

Tim O'brien was MVP though.

Sam, Delma, California, Hot Rize, and of course, RED KNUCKLES AND THE TRAILBLAZERS on Saturday night!  I only saw 8 of the 22 bands, not sure how that happened.
