Hey everyone...new to this forum, but can not think about anything else since I found out that I will be attending this years festival!!!  Just wanted to hear who everybody is really looking forward to seeing at this years festi.

My top 3 would have to be Yonder, Railroad Earth and Greensky Bluegrass...

Let me know your thoughts...

YMSB   Love
Gaelic Storm - seen in STL but want to experience at TBF
David Byrne - have not seen yet
Elvis Costello - have wanted to see forever
Greensky Bluegrass
Punch Bros - yummy
Peter Rowan   Love Love

Can I just post the whole lineup?   Thumbs Up

It's all good! Costello sounds like one not to miss. Can't wait until the CD come out on June 2nd. Gaelic Storm closes on Saturday night. They will definitely amp the crowd. And...Emmylou...always!

Seeing Crooked Still alone would be worth the trip.  But otherwise, in no particular order:

1. Crooked Still
2. The House Band
3. Jerry & Tim
4. Kasey & Shane
5. Punch Bros
6. Works Progress Administration
7. Stuart Duncan (still hoping for a house band addition)

In no particular order (because I don't have any of this planned)
Sam Bush (always amazing and worth the money)
Tim O'brien and Jerry Douglas (Saw them both last year, excited to see them together)
David Byrne (wow, just wow)
Elvis Costello (Elvis is King Thumbs Up)
Bela Fleck (Best banjo in the world)
Emmylou (Not seen yet but really looking forward to it)
Railroad Earth (again, wow)
Yonder (Always amazing)
Peter Rowan (saw last year)
The House Band (One of my top three sets last year)

But I'm with HBear on this one, I'm just looking forward for FEESSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVVVVVVAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Cheers

[Telluride Tom shortened your FESTIVAL a bit so it didn't expand the whole thread.] Thumbs Up

Sigh. The SplitLip/RRE show last night just made me that much more excited about TBF. Who's doing a countdown? How many more days?
