If you don't already know, Bluegrass By Bike is a group we have formed in conjunction with Planet Bluegrass to promote the bicycle and alternative transportation.  We believe in sustainable festivation and choose to set a good example by riding our bicycles into the festivals, encouraging others to ride their bikes as much as posible too, whether at the festival or not.

We will be making the ride from Boulder to Lyons in a very similar way as this past Rockygrass.  Gear transportaton will be available from Boulder and the group ride will be at an agreed time Thursday afternoon.  Even if you are not riding from Boulder, can only come for a single day or cannot ride with the group we encourage you to leave the car behind.

As a nice incentive, Planet Bluegrass has offered free passes for the first 10 riders to sign up.  6 of these passes will include camping as well, so jump on it quickly!  For more information and to RSVP please email bluegrassbybike@gmail.com  and/or post here.

Ride On!

hello i have some little information i got in some web that i research, hope you will like this little information, MORE than 140,000 Australian workers are expected to hop on their bikes and take part in the annual Ride to Work Day on October 14.
The event, now in its third year, will be held in various locations in capital cities and regional areas across the country in a bid to encourage people to embrace cycling and its associated health benefits.
In Wyndham, the event has been organised by Karyn Foote of Prime Health Group, with a bunch of cyclists to leave Werribee at 6am and travel along the Federation Trail to Laverton North, before tucking into a healthy breakfast.
Ms Foote encouraged workers of all ages and riding abilities to sign up. more here...
