Edits made to items 4 and 5 above per Iain's suggestions.

The original post came entirely from my own head, but the suggestions we put out there on this Forum as a community should reflect as much as possible the generally accepted expectations of all of us.  That way, the guidance that we collectively give comes from the community as a whole, and not just from me.

Thanks for the input, and keep it coming!

So to clarify - I don't have to get the PDF tickets into the name of the person I sell them to? They can enter the fest with tickets in my name?

Thanks!

Well put...  I agree that what you have written is all good info to follow...  Especially the part about "first come, first served"...  The planet should do away with the lottery...  If people want the tickets they should go online at the posted times and get er done!!!

If this means there may be a TP or Warner Field Pass available, please notify Jaci or Giles and we'll buy it!

You think you've got it bad, try buying tkts from the UK EEK!

Three times I've had sellers fail to respond (after they agreed the sale) when I told them I couldn't collect in person as I was out of the country.

Doesn't seem to matter that I offered to transfer funds direct, Craigslist and it's dire warnings have made traders wary of sales that aren't local. Mad

But, the power of positive thought will win through and I'm sure we'll be pickin' in Town Park yet. Cheers

just a tip to anyone buying resold tickets.  you can call the bluegrass sales office and they will usually verify that tickets were sold to whomever using the name and city.  they will specify the range of tickets that were sold to that person which might help the transaction.

also, word has it that there are some TP tickets coming back lately and those will be posted today or next week at noon.

Just call Planet Bluegrass (or e-mail them) giving them the original name on the will call and the order number. Tell them the new name and it's all set. Flower

Why is it that every year once you get there, there are posts all over the place (bathrooms, telephone poles, etc. ) of people with extra tickets for Warner and Town Park , but right now it's a struggle to find just one warner field ??

P.S.  I need a  (1) warner field ticket  ....please!
